My odometer sticks on occasion - is there a place to lube it or any simple maintenance that I can perform? Thanks

Anyone going to TDS this year down by the Salton Sea (CA)? We will be
with a big group just south of N. Marina Drive off SR22. I have a map I can
send if anyone is interested. The dates this year are March 5-7.
We will be camping with a good sized group of hard core Jeepers that like
to go play on their own rather than sit in line on the event runs. Joe O.
has wheeled with a couple of the guys at Calico and can attest that they are
not the typical Jeep crowd! It has been raining out there so the trails
should be great and the Notches should be ugly!
Joe,
Please tell me the final outcome of this problem. My 404 is now acting the same way.
Thank you,
Vietnam Bill

Hi guys-
My 404.114 became very hard to shift into the lowest 3 gears, then later the
same day, became impossible to shift into those gears with the engine
running.
Hi- I got my truck back recently from the paint shop where everything was blasted and redone. It seems that somewhere along the way the front attachment pieces for the fenders were lost. Does anyone have a set that they want to sell?
My 416 has always been missing the cap on the steering wheel so I decided to fix that little issue with some aluminum plate and my favorite CNC mill.

Alright, my mog has been trouble free for years, and of course when I go to
sell it, gives me issues (I guess it's telling me something).
I tried to start my mog last weekend, and it went 'click' when I hit the
starter. Did not turn over, sounded like low battery to me. Long story
short, ended up charging batteries, same issue, and ended up going out and
getting a few new batteries thinking maybe the old walmart batteries were
shot, and still, same story.
List,
I have two military, towable aggregate spreaders for sale. This is the
type that connects to the back of a dump truck.
Asking $950 each. Photos available. Email me off list. Located in Wall,
NJ. Delivery available.

Last night I went down to Jay Couch's place and picked up my 404 that
has been chilling its heels down at his place. It needed some TLC to
replace several broken bits, but now it's home. It has some
electrical wonkiness that I need to fix before I drive her too much,
but I could not resist today, so I fired her up, got her all nice and
warm, and took her for a spin around "town" (a few blocks of dirt
roads with about a dozen buildings).
Mmmm.
Hi guys-
One more question here. I had a 'pie pan' tailgate with the typical latch /
hasp, but the new one has a swing over lever thing. It doesn't appear that
this will latch to my existing pie pan side boards. Is this true? I can
modify my new tailgate, but if this lever thing will work, I would rather
spend the time on something else! Take care,

Hi guys-
I'm putting my track bar, drop arm and steering (gear) box back on. Does
anyone know what the torque values should be? I imaging the steering gear
is high as it takes a 1 5/8" socket! Also, any good ideas on how to keep
the steering gear 'bolt' (with funny head) from rotating? Please email me
direct as I'm on digest. Thanks,
