Over the past few years I know there has been talks about mirrors for the
SBU trucks and I kind of brushed them off a little. Well Im on my way down
to NWMF and think mirrors would be a good option, Mine are all busted up so
I'm looking for some ideas, hopefully something close and not in Germany or
across the US. Thanks.. if I can't find something I recon some 10$ mirrors
from napa will have to work.

OK, so here's The Rest of the Story. The new owner toasted the engine not too many weeks into his ownership. Lacking many choices at 4:00 a.m.

Its a long shot, but at one time in my truck's life the grill or badge was
changed for one that is from 1500. My Truck is a U1300L, its only
aesthetics's, but I'd like the proper badge. If anyone happens to have a
U1300L one in good shape, and wishes to trade for my 1500 one, shoot me an
email.

I've got some Mog stuff taking up space in my garage. I'd hate to throw
it out or scrap it. If you are interested in anything listed below, make me
a reasonable offer. I can deliver to NWMF but hurry, I am leaving Monday
from Nevada.

Spent all day today adding two 55 gal auxiliary fuel tanks and transfer
plumbing to the hauler. With the original 75gal tank and now two 55gal tanks
I can carry 185gal of Diesel for a range of about 1500 miles while hauling
the 406. The only reason I'm adding the tanks is that I got a hookup of
200gal of free fuel. I'll save about $350 this trip by carrying the extra
fuel. Cha-ching!
On that note; Scott Ingham and I are donating one of these tanks for the
NWMF raffle. They go for $150-300 each on E-Bay and can be put in the bed
of a pickup or whatever.

Hey Everyone,
I received a box of the printed directories earlier this
afternoon, I have been hard at work all day getting them shipped out!
If you have placed an order, it has been mailed!
Still taking orders and submission, etc! This will be an ongoing
project.

So some of you have had the loose driveshaft bolts and or bolts fallen out
and rolling around in the torque tube problem which I've had twice now and
seen personally on another truck just recently. My question is why did MB
only use 6 bolts when the flanges have 12 tapped and drilled holes ready to
go along with the locking tabs being setup for more bolts?
Are these flanges and/or tranny setup for other model Unimogs that may have
had larger powerplants?
