Greetings from La Junta, CO. We completed changing the front windshield yesterday and started on yet-another hub replacement. We completed the hub this morning. The hub that was replaced was installed about 2 years ago in Helena, MT as a result of a catastrophic hub/seal/gear failure. That failure took down both gears, 4 bearings, 2 seals, the wear ring and the cast iron hub case.
At the time that the failure happened, availability of parts was an issue and as a consequence used parts were installed.
Hey all.
I have an interesteing parts request.
I am looking for any old tranny, differential, pto,or hub gears out of any type, be it mog or otherwise. Also need any large flywheel gears, large roller chain, size 50 or bigger, any type of farm/machinery type gears and mopar type shaft style rocker arms.
Condition not important.
Hi moggers
We are fixing a 1981 403 diesel unimog equiped with OM314 4 cilinder diesel
the original acelerator linkage and pedal was missing , and here in Mexico (Monterrey in this case that is where we are)
mog parts are really scarce and this lead previous owners to
swap a ford pedal with cable going direct to IP to drive it , but we lost the way to turn it off using the hand thortle with this modification
the mog have the hand thorttle lever on the side of the dog house not at the dash like other we've seen before
like yuou know its irritating to have to stall the Mo
Someone on one of my swampwalks put this on you-tube. I just found out about it, allthough its been there for two years.
Dont know him personaly but I think he did a terrific job.

Oh crap I forgot and took a shower this morning! I would never think of
showing up Unimogs in my Syncro!
List,
I've got a military tent for sale. It's the expandable tent system which
measures 16'x32'. I don't have the frame, just the complete canvas. The
windows and screens are in good shape, end curtains are nice but the top has
a 12" rip in it. Can be easily repaired. This is canvas not vinyl which
breathes better in certain climates.
Asking $500 for it.

Never use this horn to deliberately disturb people....a lot of fun though where there are no train tracks and say an RV Park in the distance. I can just imagine..."Dammit Fred...I swear a train went by last night." "Are you out of your cotton pickin' mind the nearest tracks are 20 miles away." This is the Mog that made the trip to Palm Springs California a while back and the NWMF and met guys like Alan Draper and Terry Lane.
Does anyone remember the Lake Placid 406 that was on the exchange earlier
this year? I think it was listed in the April-May time frame.
It looks like the ad either expired or was pulled and I need to track down
the seller.
I don't know where the machine was located, but it came with a loader,
backhoe and a hydraulic drive Schmidt.
So I wanted to see if there would be an extra seat available this year at
NWMF? Also I wanted to see if there was any plans this year for a trail
ride or some other cool thing happening, not that NWMF isn't cool already
but you know something Extra J
Actually to be honest I haven't heard much about it .. is there a web site I
missed other then http://www.northwestmogfest.com/
I'm not totally sure if I can even go this year, or even bring the Unimog.
My budget is pretty tight this year so I'm looking for options.
