About this site
The goal on this website is to provide the Unimog community with a common ground for sharing stories, technical information, photos, and other fun ideas about our favorite vehicle, the Unimog.
I strongly encourage you to participate in your adventures of mog ownership by sharing with our community here. The basis of this site is formed on the Unimog email list owned by Eddie Runner, at tx4x4.com, which is the home of the email listserv that most people enjoy.
This site is an attempt to expand on that concept, where we can all share technical concepts, stories, and other tricks we have learned. Far too often, these really good ideas get lost to the churn of our email inbox, dead websites, and other unfortunate fates. Take a look through the archives sometime and you will see what I mean.
This site is a constant work in progress - various functions may appear, (and sometimes disappear) depending on the needs and wants of users. I am still learning how to be fully effective at administration here. Please speak up and ask me directly by writing me a message, and I will try to figure out a way to make it work.
This is your site, and your content. Without your help it's just a big empty room - I know we all have tons of collective experience and I am very excited about having some decent tools to share as much as we can.
