Ok Just purchased a 406 coming in by lowbed tomorrow! I had a 404 a while back. The lowbed driver is paid by the hour and the Mog has no books, Lots of levers in there! Which lever is which? I want to drive this off the truck quickly and get the transporter back on the road quick! Also need to know which is the PTO lever because I might need to raise some attachments before I can drive it! Thanks for any help!

Check this out:
http://www.benzworld.org/forums/unimog/1405890-lever-labelling.html
and while you are on that forum, search the forum for 'shifting', 'shifters', etc. There's loads of info there including pictures.
Lifting an implement would 'normally' not involve the PTO. The hydraulic control levers on the steering column will probably be what you use... BUT, we know nothing about your truck, what implements, or if you have the high capacity hydraulics in addition to normal hydraulics.
Where are you? Are there 406 owners in your area?
Good luck and enjoy!
Bob
