Greetings from Greenback, TN. We are still enjoying Bob and Kitty's hospitality and having fun. Since we have a web connection here, I posted photos from our recently completed trip of the entire Blue Ridge Parkway. The BRP is nearly 500 miles and runs through VA and NC. We took 5 days to do this run and camped every night except one (when it was so effing hot that we just HAD to stay in a motel with a/c).
This is a very green and scenic area of the US. The road is in great shape and oddly, there were not many folks out on the road. True, we did travel mostly in weekdays, but even the most crowede campsites still had room. We never had reservations at any of them and we always managed to get adjacent camp sites.
We had a great time and I could strongly recommend the BRP to anybody in the area.

This set of photos has several shots of Bob's 1300 rig with Alaskan camper. For those of you that are fantasizing about building a camper, check out the photos carefully as they may give you some ideas.
From here, we are heading west in Tennessee toward Nashville to get our country music ticket punched. From there, southwest toward Ozark, MO.
Happing mogging.
Best,
bc and Kathleen
